One million ethanol molecules combine with each virus that means 20 billion ethanol molecules out of 6 trillion ethanol molecules.so we are left with 5 trillion and 980 billion of ethanol molecules in this particular cubic centimeter. Bearing in mind that each cubic meter has one million cubic centimeter. All still has 6 trillion ethanol molecules untouched.
Of course all this happens in one cubic centimeter.

Ethanol used as killer in hospitals to kill viruses and bacteria. They use it as liquid.
Ethanol molecules react with biological molecules vigorously and combine with it so it makes it disfunctional biological molecule.
Ethanol whether liquid or vapour the molecule has the same properties so it will kill viruses when it meets them in the air.

Ethanol does not disintegrate in air for a very long time. Try to keep a bottle of Wiskey with an open top and put some wiskey in a glass and leave it for a week then drink it you will not find a change in taste so it did not disintegrate or change to vinegar.
Cars using Ethanol it stay in the tank for weeks and it does not disintegrate.

Uhh just because we drink alcohol doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s safe to inhale ethanol.
Answer
We drink in few hours at the bar 50 grams of alcohol (ethanol) as whiskey or beer. Therefore when we breath 0.1 gram in 12 hours that is totally negligible and certainly harmless.
Because the 50 grams which we drink, it will circulate all the body including the brain and the lungs, so the lung is not effected by 50g of ethanol passing through it, so for sure 0.01 gram every hour will be of no harm to the lungs.
In my shop I use ethanol mixed with methanol and concentration much higher than 6 trillion molecules in each cubic centimeter and nothing happened to me.
Therefore it is harmless to breath air containing ethanol having 6 trillion molecule in each cubic centimeter, to end the shutdown of cities and to end economic collapse.

For typical air at room conditions, the average molecule is moving at about 500 m/s (close to 1000 miles per hour).
Speed of molecules in air is 500 m/s so they hit each other millions of times per second.
So each Corona virus swimming in the air, ethanol molecules will hit it thousands of times per second and must combine with it. Since 6 trillion ethanol molecules are in each cubic centimeter then hundreds of Ethanol molecules combine with the virus and kill it.
